Hello

So this has been the summer of the trilogy. Spidey3, Shrek 3, and Pirates 3. Admittadly all were letdowns. None more than Spiderman. How could two Rami brothers screw up a script so bad. The only redeeming value of the entire film was the cameo by Campbell. Which was way more entertaining than the anticipated Mysterio would have been. Shrek seemd like a rushed project. No real character developement and little story. The problem may have been that the first film set the bar entirley too high and ruined it for the second two. Pirates three was the best of the worst. The introduction of the Shanghai pirate lord, expertly played by Chow yun Fat was too long much like the island scene in part two. There was absolutly no reason to create the character of Calyspo. The story of a scorned lover would have been more powerful if it was not a deity. Well thats about it for my first blog. Hopefully the fourth installment of Die Hard and the highly anticipated Transformers will give us the blockbusters with a bang we are looking for this summer.
